So this is the wood I drug outta the woods chased the grain and sealed the back. Then it checked like a mother f$&@er. So after I got past the cracks I had what one would call a sorry looking toothpick. I recurves it then took it outta the form right way so the tips would come back down a bit. So more flipped tips I'd say. It's 58" long. I have about 2 hrs into it so far. It's funny on how fast u can shape a bow with a scraper when u don't have much to start with. I'll let ya know where she ends up. In the trash or my hand.

Thanks man, well see how it goes. There's one knot I split off and it's some back to haunt me! I may try one of those dowel patches. Can't think of the name. Again. Well see

Would I be able to grind down the belly flat and add a belly lam? If it starts looking grim
