Title: Twilight Knap
Post by: Zuma on February 11, 2014, 12:15:33 am
The best material I have found for knapping in near darkness is Crapperite.
Florida Chert and Burlington come also to mind.
But Crapperite is the only native type here on the island.

Raw Crapperite the color is from the tank water not the bowl.

I would do it on a constitutional basis if there was more at the dump. ;)
