finally Got around to putting leather on this one.
ive have the yew slats for a few years and finally figured out what to do with them.
this was a fun bow to make :) the rain has forced me to take inside pics:(
Elk Leather handle. Horn nocks. Rattler skin accents.

Are Yew bows inherently classy or is it the bowyers that work with yew?

Man Pineconer your turning out some stellar bows, real beauties and I have to say I'm a big fan of your work. This bow has a lot of flair and style, nicely crafted. Did the elk leather handle come from your past fall selfbow and stone point kill?

Thanks badly bent, the elk leather is from an elk my dad shot a few years ago. The hide from my elk is still in the freezer :/

thanks blackbird, it is smooth and shoots really good.
lol carson i had a couple days off work which worked out to about 28 hrs of shop time:D i was talking to chris k. about yew bows and PatB was doing his ALB build and i just had to build one! that was the last of my yew slats:(
