I've seen on here choke cherry has kind of been talked about lately on here. I'm in Northeast South Dakota and there's quite a bit of choke cherry up here, but there's a fungus that infects the tree. Mainly fungus affects the tree limbs and I guess before the sap rises pruning the tree of affected areas can eventually cure the tree of the fungus. Anyone have any insight on the usefulness of choke cherry infected with this fungus?

That's the trouble with CC. Finding it big enough and not rotten in the middle of diseased.
