-
no the quiver was a gift from halfeye, sweet aint it
-
Oh that's a nice one!!!
-
Sure is pinecone, fully functional art
-
Jeeeesh that's a beauty Bubby...halfeye done a sweet job on that!
Don
-
That is so nice I would be afraid to use it.
Patrick
-
Nice one! ;) Uh, as nice as it is, I would still use it, and not make it a wall hanger. Once it gets "Broken" in, it will then have character. And that adds it's own sort of beauty, and even a touch of realistic artifact admiration, and enjoyment. Nice indeed.

(http://) black fox is one I made for my Daughter's 7th birthday gift and the coyote is mine. I've since added black denim to the back of the strap on mine . Much better.
-
nice lostarrow, Patrick that fine quiver goes in the woods all the time, it's my hunting quiver, bub
-
So far I'm like'n what I see!
-
Hey pinecone, where's yours?
-
nice lostarrow, Patrick that fine quiver goes in the woods all the time, it's my hunting quiver, bub
+1 Bubby. I've tried a few different styles and this is hands down the best for thick bush! The arrows barely peek out and the quiver is easily tucked close to the chest with the hand carrying the bow while pushing your way through the tangled mess of Balsams and buck brush that is Northern Ontario. Haven't lost an arrow yet with this one, and she's logged a lot of miles.
-
Here is one I made a while back I still née do shorten the strap a tad.
-
Nice one Matt
-
Thanks Bub. I still might decorate this one slightly
-
Love the colour on that ,Mat!
-

That looks awesome Bub. I have a cow hide rug that is getting a little tattered. I have been thinking of making something similar. Great looking quiver :)
-
Hey pinecone, where's yours?
I ain't got one.
-
This is a buckskin quiver, the fox is non-functional on thisone. It went for a trade some years back.
-

-
I'll get around to it one of these days:)
-
That's some beautiful work guys, all are very nice. :)
Pappy
-
Man,,,,,, quivers everywhere! My buckskin one looks pretty plain in comparison to what you guys have posted, but I'll put it on here anyway. I have a Southern Plains cowhide one, and Southern Cheyenne style mountain lion quiver that are a little more dressy than this one. Curtis
-
Those are all pretty sweet. nice work
-

It's not buckskin, but it has serves me for several good seasons. I'm thinking of retiring it & making another.

Come on , Pearly! a man of your talents would have no problem makin' one of these! really , they aren't that hard.
-
Here's one I did this summer from my first braintanned deer hide. I smoked it over our grill, so it still smells a bit like burgers, salmon, and marshmallows...
-
I don't want to steal the show, but.....:
O:)
-
so pinecone hows the quiver coming along
-
Haven't had much time to work on it but sodar so good:)
Needs a pouch, a strap and a bone knife and I'll call it done:)

-
That is super sweet Brycey boy! Love that fur around the rim to quiet it.
-
Just a suggestion ,Bryce. If you are making the strap from leather, back it with some denim or heavy trade cloth. It stiffens it and makes it hang better and stay put. Much more comfortable to Cary on long hunts.
-
Here's a Southern Cheyenne style lion hide quiver I made several years ago.
-
Real inspiration from all of you! Nice one Tipi Stuff. I'll be finishing up my plains style fox quiver in the next day or two. I'll post when done.

Next up, tinder pouch and tool case. Not sure yet how I want to finish the mouth of the bow case but I think it looks ok as it is.
-
