Well i finally decided to take another crack at a molly. Its 65" ntn, 53#@28" Shoots really well for me. The Snake skins are cottonmouth that i shot with my Osage recurve down in a creek bottom during last years drought here in texas. And Osage tip overlays. Gonna take a bit to get all of the pics loaded so be patient

board bow aint takin nothing away from that. realy nice bow. im a real molly fan.

That's awesome man. Love the skins and love the tiller.
-
Really exceptional bow considering its red oak. I'm not overly impressed with red oak as bow wood but that bow is as good as it gets. The cottonmouth skins look great as well. Danny

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Medicinewheel, when i get a chance this weekend i'll sit down and get all the exact specs on it for you. All i can say so far is that it has an unusually high early draw weight even though it took a bit of set, bout an 1 1/2" i think ( laying it on its back and measuring to the tip). Probably due to such a short working limb and the working limb being tapered from 2 1/2" to 1 7/8 where it starts to fade/taper. It draws very smooth and 0 handshock. So i'm happy to trade those perks for the string follow. The tips are 3/8", and a 1/2" about 6" from the tip. I know i could trim those down to a 1/4" but a foot per second or two isn't really worth it to me. It shoots great so i'm calling it done.
