Hey guys,
I know its been a while since I posted anything so lest you think I was bucked from the bronco and never re-saddled........
Here is a bow I made for someone I know. I worked on it a little at Martyjam and finished her up last week. 40# @ 25", 58" NtN. Has about 3/4" of reflex. I was originally going to cover the entire back with some prairie rattler skins, but they were so long and there would be so much waste that I used some diamondback scraps from a previous bow. Turned out pretty good I think. Thanks for looking.

As always, looks good. Trying to figure out how you did the rest. Looks like a cutout but is there anything else there?
-
I was thinking yesterday "Cody needs to post a bow here real quick or I'm gonna start bugging him"
That's a gorgeous bend. Love the snake limb accents and all around very well done.

Thanks everyone!
@ Cameroo: The tips are bacote
@ RyanR: The rest is not cut in. I built it out with 1/8"cork.

Awesome as usual. I always like to see your bows.
-
outstanding in all aspects ...
-
Really impressive bow there missile.
I really like the mid limb skins. It takes nothing away from the beautiful color of the osage. I tend to appreciate finish work that shows this sort of "restraint". Osage is such a beautiful wood in its own right, those 2 sections of snake skin on this bow is plenty to set it off, a full length skin would have still looked great, but this style is fantastic. .
-
Very beautiful and sweet curve... I love it
-
I'm new but I know art when I see it.
