Here are some pictures of two different wool hoods my wife, Angela, made. The first is mine and the second is for CMB. I was wearing one in some pics on the Trade Gift thread and folk wanted to see better pics of the hood. Here they are. She makes these with high quality wool in different weights. Right now she is making me some for spring and summer to wear to mask my face and not overheat.
I could withstand high winds and cold biting temps with this hood and cowl. Head and shoulders being warm make a big difference, as I am sure you all know.

I think there is some real potential in marketing that hooded scarf. That's something that any archer, primitive or wheelie, would use, not to mention anyone else out in the cold!

Now thats what I call styling! Functional, artistic and made from wool, NICE.

Thanks y'all! She does make these to bring in income, they are made on a foot powered treddle machine under a home made cover in the forest. This how we support our family and live in the tipi. I am very lucky to be married to her, that is undoubted.

Do you have prices? They are amazing.

I'm not a sponsor so I don't think I can price stuff or sell it on here. Fairopheliadesigns@gmail.com. I hope I didn't cross any lines, not intending to.

Oh yes, the rules, oops. I was blindsided by how awesome they are and I forgot completely :-[ will send you an email :)

Cool... I have a hood that I built a few years ago and plan on building the rest of the clothing I need to bow hunt in the 10th century this fall. I decided it felt weird sitting in a tree with a stick bow while wearing realtree. Perhaps it will feel more "normal" in historic duds. ??? :o
