I made a MERLIN (sp?) design a couple years ago with my high school students. It is basically 14 foot high to the pivot point and has a greater mechanical advantage. It was a project, to say the least.

Did you have plans to build from or just wing it? I want to make another for sure, this time with a bit more thought.
