i bought this stave a while back it was well seasoned for over 4 years when i got it i split over 4 staves from the log and this bow came from the worst stave the upper lime is straight but the bottom limb is a different story it has a huge knot that i thought would break once i violated it but the other day i got bored and started to work on it again.here is the outcome

Looks pretty good, you could be shooting that for a long time. What wood species is it?

It's osage orange I know I stained it it turned out kind of a funny color
