Title: Emerald ash borer???

I live in eastern Oklahoma in the Ozark mountains and Ive been noticing lots of ash trees dying off around here. Looking at the map it doesnt show that the eab has made it here yet but I was just wandering if anyone else lives around this area and has noticed this same thing. Will this bug wipe out all the ash trees or will some of them avoid it somehow? Heres a couple pics I took today of some ash trees on their way out.

No mistaking them little sob,s if ya cut one they are easy to see for sure cause they really are emerald (almost iridescent) green. Our ash trees up hear took a beatin but they didn't get 'em all, at least not yet.....but it aint gonna be pretty either.

I believe there was some kinda of ash blight before the ash borer came about. The tops just seem to die out first an then works it's way down slowly. Bad news for our Penna. Ash. Bob

I was told that blue ash is less susceptible to the EAB than the white and green ash trees by the Dept of At foresters.
