Yep it's lychee season again. This year we have a mocking bird that has built a nest in a nearby grape vine. The pair of birds have kept all the squirrels and crows away ;D . This is the best crop we have ever had to the point of selling some.

Lychee is an Asian fruit that has a taste of it's own. sweet and like eating an eyeball with a seed

A Medic I used to work with, used to raise them on his ten acres, and sell them to the Chinese Restaurants, till the now ex decided she should get the house, and everything else. :o

Wow! a bumper crop. Do you deliver? :) It must be the weather this year, too, I've already picked 4 1/2 gallons of wine grapes and the Muscadines don't get ripe till Aug., Sept. Pineapples on the bush, also.
And all of our squirrels live in the freezer, except one smart one. ;D
