Title: Benedikts first elm "cromlin", 40#@28"

Hey Guys!
This is mey new bow i've just finished yesterday  :)

It is my first elm bow, and was made from 2 elm billets. I've v-spliced it in the handle an made epoxy-coil a over it, safety is first ;D

Data:
Lenght: 67"
Draw weight: 40#@28"
Weight: round about 1#
Finish: sanded and polished, then oiled two times with boiled linseed oil
Overlays are made out of water buffalo horn.

Very nice tiller on that snake. Elm makes a nice bow. I've only made a few elm bows but was pleased with the results.

@Carson: Yeah, it was my first really "Needletip-Bow". The tips are just 0,16" wide!
@Pat B: Actually elm is my favourite wood! I love the appereance of the small rings inside of one rig!

Real nice bow from tiller to tips, nicely rounded corners and fine finish work as well. That bow looks like it will be around and shooting well for years, great work Benedikt.

I like Elm, not so much of it about in the UK since we had Dutch Elm disease :(
