So last week my 3 1/2 year old came up to me and asked me when I was going to make her a bow like the girl in "Brave" daddy did for her. For you guys that don't know brave is a newer cartoon movie  where the girl is a expert archer. So last Saturday night I grabbed one from the corner of shame and went to work. Turned out about 44 ntn and maybe 10@15. Leather lace handle and 6 string d 97 string with double serving. Funny I wouldn't even use my b50 on it >:D  1/4" oak dowel arrows w/2" fletching. I tell you what never making a kid bow this light it is still far from a toy. 20" long arrows spit like darts. She shot about 20 arrows and needed some juice and a snack. Hope she continues with it as I'd love to have her out with me :). Thought I'd add a link of her second time shooting

Thanks for the nice comments guys!  It really is amazing how she improved in just a few days. Fun to see their motor skills get better by the minute. At first I made a blunt with jute twine and super glue on her arrows but she was getting mad her arrows wouldn't stick in. So now she graduated to a knife sharpened point >:D
