Its been a while since I have been able to sit and do some chipping but man I am glad to be back at it at least for the time being. This summer has been busy as crap I've been re-modeling my wife's new salon downtown Tampa, doing school, traveling, plus work etc. I had this order for a while and was appreciative of the guy being patient with me.
The material is Agate from NM and of course Flint Ridge.
Yall take it easy enjoy.

Nice work and have fun on that elk trip. Enjoy the quiet, cause there's nothing like it!

What mould do you use to pour those with...awesome matched points
I'll be leaving on the 11th and staying to the end of archery. Rumor has it that it has been wet this year. Good Luck on your hunt!

Seminolewind, I will be going to GMU 35 or 15 in Colorado. Congrats to your buddy on filling his tag. Not easy to do, but it can be done.

those are some sweet looking points you make, do you use slabs cut with a saw or do you start with spalls?

These all start as spalls I havent ever used slabs in my sets...not that i am opposed to slabs I just think that its more of a challenge to do with percussion first. Im kinda weird like that

Those are inspiring, I've been watching for more of your points. Looks like it was worth the wait.

Man, your work is so precise, it's hard to believe that those came out of the middle of some old rocks... Crazy!! You must have people knocking down your door for those :) Thanks for sharing!
-
Seminole, you do magnificent work, and your choice of material is spectacular. What a match!
-
Beautiful points, Man ! Thanks for sharing them. ' Frank

Killer. I need to challenge myself to make more matched sets.
-
Thanks for the kind words y'all ! Btw didn't get an elk this year I called in a bull and had him broad side at 40 yds, didn't shoot because he was a spike and in order to legally kill a spike they have to have at least one 5" brow tine. I still had an amazing time and enjoyed all 6 days worth of gettin my ass handed to me at 11,000-14,000 ft above sea level! Section 74 Colorado.
-
Holy crap man!!!! and congratulations on getting that close to an elk ;)
-
Very nice points!!
