Good job on a tricky piece Bub.
-
Great job Bub. Looks like such a sweet little thing. Some of the bows that turn out looking simply beautiful are anything but simple in the beginning. Love the D bows :)
-
Nice bow Bubby! I have yet to see one of pauls selfbows that was not full of cracks! He's a crack addict. ;D They do shoot nice though. ;)
-
Good job on a tricky piece Bub.
My thoughts exactly.
-
You've proven that there is hope for a stave that's been laying in my garage.
'Course your talent level may have had sumpin to do with how well yours was transformed.
Lovely!
-
knoll all this proves is it literally don't take much osage to make a bow
thanks jon, matt, cody and chris, knoll just drag that stick out and start carvin'
-
Nice stick Bubby! Looks like you wrangled a nice even bend out of it.
-
Nice job bub 8) Just remembered you texted me I pic a few days ago and I forgot to reply. That bow is sweet and glad you found it in there. Don't be scared of checks, I don't have a stave without them.
-
thanks clint, i'm not afraid of the checks paul a few were just real close to the edge, a little protection never hurt ;)
-
Nice work bub, looks like one of those pieces that require a little thought to wrangle a bow out of. I've seen quite a bit of Paul's osage this year and some nice bows made from it as well. Nice character in the stuff he's cut.
-
thanks greg, once i'm back to 100 percent i'm planning on tackling the better stave, I've slowly been working that nice locust I got from you too
-
Nice bend on a curly one bubby.
