Finished this one up recently....started it before Marshall, but life through me for a loop so progress has been slow. It was supposed to be out west this week chasing mule deer but it'll get some action here in a couple weeks with the local whitetails instead.
Osage stave came from Danny boy (dgf) cause he wouldn't go rabbit hunting w me last winter >:D
Specs are 63" 50#@28", buffalo horn tips, leather shelf, coat of golden oak stain, a coat of shellac and about 10 coats of tung oil.
Named the bow "dark horse", for a couple reasons....one to remind me of Marshall (brewery in town is called Dark Horse) and there is a personal reminder in that name too.
Big thanks for the guidance, inspiration, help, jokes, texts, and the occasional kick in the butt to: CK, Danny, and Paulie!
So here's some pics of my 4th bow..
