The worst part about having to leave is dealing with"civilization"again and watching people acting like a heard of sheep as i drive through traffic

You are never quite the same after leaving civilization for awhile

It was a shock stepping off a plane in Montreal after spending ten days 1,000 miles North. We'd been chasing Tuc-Tuc (Caribou) in the Torngat Mountains in Northern Quebec. The noise and bustle were almost unbearable ! I still dream of returning to those Mountains - Bob.

And a great trip that was, Chamookman!  It was eerie quiet.  Not even the faint sound of man or machine.  In places where we made the first human footprints.  I too would love to return.

Sadly I didn't go. My father in law did. I am not sure who his guide was. We have an interesting entry way, when we moved in my wife mentioned "Your Caribou sure would look good here". He asked if she was serious and lets us take it. LOL, it is his "Small one" the rack barely fit in the back of my truck it is so wide.
