Title: Bamboo ipe osage tri lam
Post by: Blaflair2 on October 22, 2014, 02:06:30 am
So I glued this together. Against better judgement... I already cut the boo for the last one and decided to go with the ash. So I had some stuff left over and threw this together. I'm aiming for a bendy handle. Figured I'd try osage and see of I can swing it. Was going for a sort of 5 curve. Well see. The lams are long in the pic, they end about an inch from the top of the block.

Reflex is generally better when added from mid limb out bruiser. You have a "v" shape going in the handle. Id suggest adding no more than 1/2-3/4" from the center line out 14-16" each way, then add a nice gradual 2-3" from there to the tips.

It doesn't keep a lot of it. So well see. This was just scrap so I figured I'd get more practice In
