An Eastern Woodland bow made of Osage. 55#@28". Side knocks with horn overlays and a pink and orange fast flight string. Beaver balls for string silencers. I have her braced at 6.5" and the bow is 64.5" between knocks.
Cheers.
P.s. This stave came from OO.

Nice bow, Steve and a nice bend too. Is that the first bow out of your new shop?
-
Not yet Pat. This one was made in the garage. The inspector cleared the shop on Thursday, so, itis rime to run power out to the shop. ;D

Very Nice!
Side nocks have become my favorites.....easy to make and I like how you can control the string tracking by which side you put them on (specially on the wiggly stuff). On opposite sides for straight down the middle and both on one side to steer the string to that side or the other.

AWESOME!

I like Plain Jane! Do you use a string keeper to keep the string on?

I like Plain Jane!

Nice looking Osage stick......I bet she doesn't shoot like a "plain Jane".

Very nice. Seems to be signs of heat-treating there.

You bet, Marc.

Eddie and I toasted it in his shop when it was being ground tillered.

Very nice bend. I like the simple style of a bendy bow like that and those side nocks fit right in on that bow
as well. Nicely done Stephen.
-
Looks like you turned that stave into a sweet bow Parnell. I bet that would make a nice hunting bow.
-
Thats a nice 'en Steve! I really like simple bows... Brian

Nice and pure, lovely wood. Beavers seem to have quite big and hairy balls. Mine would not make realy good silencers, I guess. ;)
-
Beautiful simplicity!
-
That is the kind of bow I have come to appreciate - just meat and taters. I think that one will fill a freezer. Great work.
