I'm going to sort, bag and label my feathers. I get them in bulk from a turkey farm. Can you tell me from the picture which is left or right. The quills are groove side up.

I believe the left is on the right and right is on the left

I though I had it the other way but I've never pulled a feather out of a turkey ;D

The bottom is facing up so it's opposite.

That's why I laid them out like that but I just needed confirmation.

The leading edge is always more narrow, that's another way to identify. Trailing feathers are longer of the quill.
