Title: Pictures from bass-pro-shops archery museum! (pic heavy)
Post by: lebhuntfish on December 16, 2014, 09:27:50 pm
Well I was able to make a quick trip through the archery museum on Sunday. Couldn't spend a lot of time there because I was with some family from out of town. Some are not the best but...

I know just a little about some of  them. If you want to know something, I'll try to help. Geronimo bow is made of Osage with a sinew string. It has beautiful designs carved into the belly (I think) the whole bow is about 48 inches max. It is a smooth looking as glass without any tool marks that I could see. It's about an inch wide with tips about 3/8 wide. These measurements are just a guess by me.

You're welcome guy's! Wish they were better all I had was my phone. In this case seeing it in person is way better than the pictures. Patrick

Like I said it's way better in person and there are several other displays I didn't get pictures of. I hope everyone can see this some day! There are several bows that are broken. Some of which say they were pushing design limits. You all are welcome! Patrick

That Geronimo bow looks very nicely made. Is it a reflex deflex? Nice photos. Thanks for sharing!
