Title: Character Knotty Osage Recurve 72# 27''
Post by: adams89 on January 07, 2015, 11:30:01 am: I've been out in the field to hunt some tree stumps and decided to post this bow I made a while ago.
I made this bow from a low quality Osage stave, it has 15 pinnots and very very thin rings, the crown is also pretty high in some places so I actually went for a HLD in the outer thirds of the limbs. the tips are made of wengee. Other than that it's a nice and quick shooter, with a decent drawweight for me
It was quite a challenge to get this one done.
I hope you guys like it, I tried to make some good Pictures of it ( we don't have this great scenery here in north Gemany ;))
Sorry for the full draw pic I had to make it alone with a timer...

Specs are
66 inches long
72 pounds
27 drawlength

It doesn't look very cold where you are. I'd have thought it to be pretty frozen in N Germany...
