My 12yr old wanted a bow with deer fur as she calls it so her it is.
62" n2n
35#@26"
Buffalo horn tip overlays
Backed with deer hide w/hair
My daughter made her own string.
Her first by herself!!!!

Great bow!! She is leaps and bounds ahead of me!! Haven't even made a string yet. Pound for pound I think she can handle more draw weight then me too ;).

Great job Dad............and great job Lauren on the string...Love it... :)

Nice job, Dad!! :)

The spirit of Diana is strong with this one! When I read the stats on this bow I was sure your daughter must be in her mid-teens at least, ...She's a strong little girl dad.

Too cool. I am happy for you both.

That's just awesome right there! Good on you.

Congrats to you both. Nice bow, and string. And a very strong young lady! I see she has her hunting camo on too! That is great that she took an interest in bow making, and string making. That will help her in growing up, as she will realize that if you want something, then set it as a goal, find out what she needs to do to attain it, and go for it. She will not be afraid of doing hard work, and getting her hands dirty. She has been there, done that, and realized the reward, and is enjoying it, and giving you the enjoyment of watching her joy, at having a bow you made together, and a very nice bow string!
