Title: Anchor point
Post by: DC on January 28, 2015, 12:07:23 pm: What do you guys use as your anchor point? Anything I've tried seems to be in an uncomfortable position.

Post by: Pat B on January 30, 2015, 10:53:42 am: It really doesn't matter where you anchor as long as long as you are consistent. I have a friend that anchors to the middle of his chest and shoots quite well like that.

I like to put my index in the middle of my top lip (maybe slightly to the side) i lose a bit of draw length, but gain in accuracy.

Post by: BrokenArrow on March 18, 2015, 03:31:30 pm: I anchor to the corner of my mouth, but I shoot like I'm shooting a shotgun so I have a shorter draw and use my arm and bicep more than I should but I like it that way.
I can shoot for hours like this at 50# and 8 arrows per set. I actually find it easier than the fundamentalist drawing style and I can shoot shorter bows.
