Title: Percussion Days VS Pressure Days
Post by: PrimitiveTim on February 20, 2015, 06:45:04 pm
I feel like I have days where I can't sit down and do the fine pressure flaking that it takes to finish up a point while I feel like a pro knocking off spalls and roughing out some points.  Today was one of those days that I could not do any percussion but my pressure flaking was for the most part on point.  With three points already roughed out I built a fire and sat down cross-legged by the warmth and got to pressure flaking.  I finally made a decent notcher so I got to it.  Here's what I got.

I'm pretty happy with all of them but I think the middle one could have been a lot better.

Some days I'm in the mood to just unwind and bang on stuff, other days just finishing up preforms. Those points look good, Tim, I'm with you, toss that middle one in the garden. ::) ;)
