Had a couple questions regarding Cree bows so thought I'd post this picture, maybe of some help to anybody interested.

Thank you for posting Half eye. The decoration on the back of the bow look like foot prints. what do you think?

Look like deer tracks to me.

Depends on where and when the bow was collected.  Deer weren't always so common or even present as far North as they are now.
 Moose tracks might be a better  guess.

I know a guy that can fit the whole animal on a bow limb. lol

Half eye what did you use to color the sinew?

brokenarrow, That is not one of my bows. It is a museum specimen. That color may be  the particular wood showing through the clear/semi-clear sinew but I'm not sure about that.
