Title: good easy design for a lam grinder

hi, am wanting to quickly put the rough taper in board bows with a lam grinder type thing, i would also want to make lambs at one point so the same machine would be great. What is some good deisngs you see out there ?

  I have used tape with a known thickness where I build up layers spacing it about 1 or 2 " where I start each piece of tape. The thicness of the tape and how far I space the lyers will creat the taper I need. I then run it through the planer.

Do you mean a drum sander?
What do you mean by designs? Bow designs?
