Been awhile since I posted a bow so here is one I just finished. A fellow contacted me a a couple months ago who wanted give a bow to his wife for Valentines Day. Unfortunately I was too busy to do that for him but he wanted me to build his wife one anyway. Here is what I built his wife

The bow is Osage backed with Maple, 64" long and pulls 45# @ 27", tillered to 28". I steamed the recurves, heat-treated/bent the billet limbs on this one and then glued in the rest of the reflex. It started with close to 6" of reflex and kept close to 3", she shoots a compound so she will appreciate the extra performance. It is fast. There's no finish on the bow, she is an artist and plans on doing some decorating

I like the way you connect the billets at the handle in your bows.
-
i really like the profile! Nice bow.
-
Awesome! Again completely blown away with your artistry sir.
-
I just love the profiles of those bows of yours Mark. Tiller looks spot on as usual. Great job.
-
Thanks guys
-
I guess its OK ;)
-
You are a master! But you already know that :) thanks for the inspiration! Beautiful work!!!!
-
I still have plans on one of these builds as always sweet bow, I'm always rereading your articles in pa trying to get it all figured out in my thick head before i start
-
Nice work Sir! Love looking at your R/D bows.
-
Nice work... She is a lucky lady!
-
Thanks again guys, yes even you chickenhawk ;D
-
Nice bow. I thought Osage was more tension strong than maple..?
-
Very nice! Is the arrow rest wood or leather? I really like the look of it.
-
Sweet! Love the profile.
-
Nice work. Unstrung, I like how the curvature of the outer limbs accelerates on its way to the tips. Most of the curves are opening up at full draw too. Excellent tillering! Good deflex placement as well. A stable, good performer if appearance is any indication.
-
Real nice bow Marc, my guess is she will soon abandon her compound in favor of this one.
Looks fast, you sure know your way around these high performance bow builds.
-
Beautiful bow Marc, she should love that. :)

Cool bow Marc. I could pic one of those out of a line up!
-
I will imprint this bow profile in my mind as a pattern to develop my skills as a bowyer. Would be great to see a build along on a bow like this. Thanks for sharing a fine example of your work Marc.
-
Thanks guys.
Osage is tension strong but that's besides the point.
The arrow rest is built up tool leather.
I do believe I have done an article on this type of bow. Maybe I'll do a build along with the next one
-
Great bow, and you must do the build along now that you have mentioned it.
