Title: My first short English Longbow (Light)
Post by: BrokenArrow on March 27, 2015, 03:31:16 pm
This it my third bow made of yew and my first English longbow (light), re-tillered thanks to the feed back I received from some members on this site.
It is 71 inches long and 61# @ 28 inches.
20.60 ounces
I call it Hood, how original is that....

Was / is the upper limb reflexed at all?  It still looks stiff to my eyes, but then it also seems to be gently curving away from the belly in the brace photograph.

Certainly a much cleaner, smoother bend than before, so well done! Very nice work.

looks like you have a healthy knot just our of the grip and mid-limb....if that's so your tiller is very nice to be that even overall, well done.
