Title: Mixing Feathers

Can I mix two 5 inch shield feathers with a 5 inch parabolic cock feather?
Will this affect the performance?

As long as they are from the same wing it shouldn't matter.

It won't matter it they are off the same wing. You could lay the parabolic feather along sider the shield and cut the shield with a pair of scissors to match it.
