Opened up a package of HHB from "Half Eye" last week and there was a PVC tube inside with a bonus!
Rich sent me an "Eastern Two Fletch" made from Wild Rose, Turkey feathers and Dan Hamblin point tied on with deer sinew. I love the character of this shaft, it's snakey but it's straight overall... ;) This is a hunt worthy arrow and will be in my quiver this fall, hopefully adding some medicine to my hunts...

Don, It aint going to look good till it's covered with blood, fat and cut hair. Looks kike it shoots pretty straight.

Rich is a very talented, very generous person. Welcome to the club. 8)
A simple bow and a 2 fletch arrow will take you a long way. Humans have survived with these tools for 12000 or so years. It's only in the last 100 years that archery has become so complicated. ;)

Wild rose is a real favorite of mine. I use it for most of my arrows. That once looks real nice.

Also, don't test it in that target toooooo much unless you know how to resharpen the edges. Don't wana hunt with a dull point. I put little strips of masking tape over the cutting edges to test mine.

Patrick, I do also, it's all I shoot these days...Less work fletching also...
Rich, that's the plan bud, hair, blood and fat ;)
Pat, totally agree with what you said about Rich...
bowmo, the masking tape is a great idea for testing points, thanks...

An arrow is only an arrow if it flies good, that arrow not only looks good but it looks like it flies well too.
