Title: Carving & Burning
Post by: bambam on June 23, 2015, 10:56:22 am
The brother in law is going to the world piping championships in Scotland this summer so I carved this out of a 12 inch maple board and burned in the image to be his Christmas present.

Now that is cool, beautiful work, I am sure he will love that, what's not to love. :)

Thanks guys ! Hope he does well at the competition. Last time he went years ago he came in second, beating most of the Scots at their own game. If you like my Celtic style carving here is another. 23 inches of maple. Doing this sort of thing with hand tools helps with bow making.
