I just cut a beautifully straight peice of elm and was stripping the bark and remembered reading somewhere that cherry bark could be used as a handle wrap. Could I use elm bark as a handle wrap? How would one go about doing this?

bushboy did a post on that a short while ago. Do a search.

Search turned up nothing.

You can't use the site search engine-it doesn't work. Go on Google and put in "Primitive archer" followed by whatever you're searching for.

Thanks.

I know it's not Elm but here is a birch bark handle I did. I think bark have a very nice natural feel
