And add in the American pronghorn antelope, by far one of the best eating game animals in my opinion....

Hunting with cheetahs. Not poachers, those are cheaters.

Woo they are some mighty fine pussy cats :)
I might apply for that job, own cat bed and blanket, trips out hunting...
Thanks for finding that gem :)

I never knew they did that? I'm not a cat person but I could do that :D

Thats fascinating. Thanks jw.

All I can say is they have balls of brass to run in on a large predator with its blood up like that.
-
More like balls of steel. And that is certainly an amazing find.

I've always had a great respect and admiration for cats as hunters. I'm glad to see that they were well rewarded.

The Pharaohs of Egypt used cheetahs for hunting and as housepets.
I imagine the neighbor's dog wouldn't drop one in your yard a second time.....

The cat would be dropping the neighbors dog n his yard. >:D
Cool video. I remember seeing it once before a while back. All cats are incredible hunters.

Cool video, J.W. . And I agree with you that the American Antelope is the absolute best tasting meat I have ever had! A friend of mine told me he would rather have Antelope than Elk! I told him he was nuts! Buuuut, a little while later, I had the opportunity to try Antelope. I now agree with him. People ask me what does it taste like? I tell them Antelope! There is nothing to compare it with. It has a texture, and taste unlike any other animal. There isn't a lot of meat on an Antelope, but it is oh so good! I have had people tell me, that Antelope isn't fit to eat. That it tastes like sage, and the even the dogs wouldn't eat it. I then ask how long did they drag it around with them, and how did they cook it? The answer usually explains why they did not like it. You are absolutely spot on, J.W. . And thanks for the video.

Maybe time to train Lena!

She's fast and she's game, but when she runs something down, she does not "bind" as a falconer refers to it. No, she barks at it hoping it will run some more. It ain't the catching, it's the chasin'!

As well as the legality of it. I know in Utah it is against the law to chase "Big Game" with dogs. My pup is tough as nails if there is a fence between him and his quarry!
