When i was young i used to pass all the summer in my grandfather's home.
Here I made endless sticks that pretended to be bows and dreamed of incredible hunts.
Truth was the area was eavily gun hunted and i never saw anything bigger than a pheasant.
This summer I had the chance to get there again and to my surprise those were my guests at about 3:00 AM. The propertie is fenced with some type of wire net but they seem to have no problems to find passages.
I think my grandparents were watching me from above as i stared at this beast.
They stayed for more than an hour at 15 yard or less from me (I was on the balcony of the house).
The very next day i shooted a 55 longbow I had with me.
The group at 20y were pretty good but not enough.
I've seen them other 4 nights. Maybe next year...
