Hey Guys, Just thought I'd share this bow I finished up recently.
First Mollegabet that I've attempted and it seems pretty successful so far.
62" NTN, 55#@26", Heat treated Elm. Had a big check that ran off the side of the bow that I filled with warmed epoxy after I heat treated it. I gave a wrap after I tillered it out for a little extra insurance.
I've been shooting pretty well with it and I made my first primitive kill with it which I shared in the Shooting and Hunting forum.

Very cool Molly and the tiller is good. I've yet to make a Molly. Maybe I need to.

Man that Bow looks great. Love the colour of the wood! :)

Well, I got nothing to teach you! We'll done, plenty of good 5hough and adjustments made on all the little issues, well wxecuted. Esp if you took game with it, that's one solid beauty of a bow.

Nice bow, and congratulations on the kill.

Thanks so much for the compliments everybody. I really like the way this one turned out. One big Ah-ha moment I had was when I split this log, I split it so any knots ran from back to belly. In the past I've been so afraid of having a knot on the back I would put any knots on the stave on the sides of the bow. I would hope that the knot was gone when tillering was finished, but most of the time I ended up with grain dips that ran across the whole belly. Usually I would end up with a hinge or chrysals. When the knot is straight back to belly it can be easily compensated for by making it a touch wider in that area.
