I know all the admins are likely busy enough and staff, but I would love a forging/black smiting section.forging knives, points and tomahawk to name a few.thoughts?

This is something i would love to see myself. Been interested for quite some time so it would be cool to have a place to learn a few things👍... Brian

should be called a "metal working" section. i.e. forging, but also makeing metal points, maybe even even a steel bow? anything to do with metal. just points alone theres those rolled cone shaped points, cut out steel points, forged and hammered points, nail points, copper points brass cut out points, ect ect. as well as forged knives, adzes, other tools...Tony

That would be nice to have a metal working section.

I wouldn't have much to contribute but I'd love to see that
-
I would sure be interested in that section. I'm planning on doing some more forge work this spring.
-
I would like to see that.

I'd be interested in this as well

I would be really interested as well, as long as it coincides with the primitive side of things. Patrick

I would definitely be interested in a metalworking or forging section. I'm currently waiting for the refractory cement to dry on my forge.
-
Metal working for sure, seems there's a lot of metal activity these days...

Snagged a Peter wright from Craigslist about two years ago. About a 150 # and it is in great shape. Found a real nice heller hammer at an antique shop before I knew it was a nice blacksmith hammer it just seemed to fit my hand just right.

That would be cool (although not exactly primitive archery) but id love to see it all the same. My boss is actually a journeyman blacksmith and ferrier who has offered an apprenticeship of sorts if i choose. Might be interesting to take as a hobby

Truth be told I have no experience and that's why I think it would be cool!i still think the dawn of the iron age could be considered somewhat primitive though.lol.
