If you got a supply walkin round i could sure for enough to make a jacket liner.

A Possum jacket sounds....interesting  :o

You should have posted this a couple of months ago.  I tried to trap some coyotes and all I caught were possums.  Got a couple that were trophy size.  My daughter finished this one off.

You might need close to somewhere around 10 to 12 hides for a jacket liner I figure from the past.That's assuming you take the middle 6" out of each one and those will be big ones.I'll skin a few here that might try to raid the cat pan from now to spring.They hole up here when it gets below 10 degrees temporarily though.

Thanks beadman. Im in mo hurry. Just let me know when you got em all. Id be happy to build you a bow or trade a stave, your choice for them.

She looks proud. Seems she knows how to handle that little pistol too. What calibre is it?

It's a 22.  She killed a deer a few days later with a 16g. Shotgun.

My dad is in the Pest Control business and gets opossums quite regularly. (Mostly in the summer)
Normally we just throw them away.
We could probably skin them, but we've never done anything past that...   Do they need to be tanned, or?

Where are you located?

No, there is a springfield show going on and i always do better there in Missouri.
