Title: in progress roughout hickory w/ cool natural profile (pic)
Post by: snedeker on February 18, 2008, 04:05:15 pm
Wanted to record the partially roughed out bow side profile on this 64" shagbark hickory.  Has a natuiral knuckle in middle and slightly r/d limbs which I will enhance with a little heat.   cut 6 years ago, ought to be dry.

It should make a screamer, Dave.   Keep it dry.     Pat

Its leaning near a free-standing fire place.

Was a narrow peice - gonna go for a 1.5 inch wide bow
