Wanted to record the partially roughed out bow side profile on this 64" shagbark hickory. Has a natuiral knuckle in middle and slightly r/d limbs which I will enhance with a little heat. cut 6 years ago, ought to be dry.

Nice piece of wood,should make a fine bow. :) Unless it has been kept in a hot box or extra dry place it probably ant dry,seasoned but not dry.You know Hickory. :)

Its leaning near a free-standing fire place.
Was a narrow peice - gonna go for a 1.5 inch wide bow
