I finished planeing and sanding some rose shoots today, got them straight and tapered. Right where the thorns grew out of the shoots there are very small holes, does this matter. I sanded them down smooth. Also what do you guys suggest for staining or a finish. Would linseed oil be okay.

-
yup spelled either way, got bored ! :P
-
can you tell me what it means? is it a Seminole name/term? i really like the Seminoles they interest me
-
Sure can tell ya but I AINT gonna ! Research Seminoles specifically Miccosukee. Ya will see what it means ! ;) Ya would not have liked seminoles ifn yer was a US soldier in late 1830's in florida swamps ! ;D
-
Ok Bob i will research them i will find out what that means by the end of tomorrow
Thats one of the reasons why i admire them because they wouldnt leave their homeland and give into the white man.
They tricked Osceola into capture and thats wrong
-
Thanks I got some tru-oil I'll try that. The shoots come out straight but some are not quite uniform. I got a little carried away while planing them by hand, I stopped sanding when they spined out to what I wanted. Will that have any effect on how they fly.
