Title: New notching tool and a necklace
Post by: Tracker0721 on February 24, 2016, 11:57:46 am
Saw some videos on YouTube by a mr. Bustedflakes, never heard of him but boy does he make some great points and I especially like his knives! But anywho, I liked his notcher, so I made my own.

And this picture below shows how with a simple(HARD) yank the copper cap will come off and you can exchange horseshoe nails. My sister owns a feed store so I can get a box of 100 for a few bucks. Pretty sweet.

And the guy at the local trading post(yes my area still has those) said he'd trade me a few good antlers for a necklace. Also he wants me to bring any knives up and he'll put them on consignment or buy outright depending on how business is going. Finally found a way to fund my glass buttes trip!

Sounds great. That's an easy way to make a notcher.

I like the notcher. I also use horseshoe nails. John
