Wish I had taken a before pic of the chunk of novaculite, it was thick blocky and cracked. But, I did get a couple of the major flake removals stacked back together. The little flake point is a piece of high grade Staved Rock Chert which is rather rare.

Aaron: the glove is something I made myself but you could just as easily cut the fingers off a glove and sew or glue on the thicker leather on the palm and the thin flap that protects the hand from detaching flakes.
