Title: maple backing for Osage?.
Post by: sieddy on April 28, 2016, 08:04:18 am
Hi guys I have a nice Osage board 66x2x1.5" which I've cut into two peices around 0.7 inch thick. The woods clean but grains not great so I intend to back them and will get some bamboo for this. However I do have some nice straight grained maple strips 4mm thick and I'm thinking of backing one board with this. So my question is will maple make a suitable backing for Osage?
