Title: Short flat Bow
Post by: PK on February 27, 2008, 02:46:39 pm
I'm gonna start a short Flat bow from Hickory and was wodering how the profile  should be shaped. The Board is 4 ft 2 in by 2/1/4 wid. Probably would want it at 40# at short draw ? 23,22,21?

You could use this profile and still get at least 24" of draw length and 60#

Yipper....what Marc said.

Wide, flat bow limbs bending very slightly in the narrowed handle.....with slender, recurved tips...and you'll have a sweet, fast, short bow.
