Title: Northern California Arrow
Post by: flecha on June 22, 2016, 01:13:52 pm
This one is a replica Northern California style. Long, narrow obsidian point; hafted with pine resin and elk sinew. Pigments mixed with hide glue for a binder. Shaft is a red osier dogwood shoot.

Very nice, love that narrow point, that's surely a killer!

Nice arrow you don't want to leave that one laying around for the kids to play with.

great arrow.  I would be afraid to shoot it.  I have some obsidian like that, but I can't work it like that.

Very good looking arrow.
It looks like you got a really smooth finish from the sinew and pine resin, almost looks like black tape.
