Nice Dan is that the one you had the video of you shooting
-
Anything more than enough is just too much. And you got enough on your hands with that one, son! Well done!
-
Nice little bow. You are getting all the bend out of that one. Looks like the flipped tips are even working.
-
Nice little bow. Really like the snakes on it. Week done!
-
Nice, gotta love shorties!
What's the brace-height on it?
-
Nice little shorty. Should that read "Brazos" river? If so you are in the great state of Texas. If not and it is "Bravos" river, my condolences. :)
-
Nice, Dan. Enjoyed seeing it fling arrows in your vid ya did too!
-
Thanks guys.
Bubby: Yea it's the same one.
Knotty: it's 5 inches, I don't care for high brace heights.
Bob: you are correct. Darn auto correct drives me crazy. I fixed it. I'm from Illinois tho sadly ::)
-
Thanks for the answer!
Working on a shortie aswell, Guava 54-55"
-
Yeah, my auto correct had me calling Bubby "Nubby" for a long time. That's just not funny. Well, yeah, it is kinda.

That is funny. Can we shorten it to Nubs? I wish you would have posted this before he went to Marshall.
-
You didn't hear it from me. O:)

-
sweet lil thumper.
-
Cool bow Dan. Nice to see you put down the rocks and pick up a rasp ;)
-
Very nice little shooter. Good looking bow.

I have been very reluctant to comment about your bow because you don't know me well enough to be certain that I am not being critical of you. With that being said I love the skins and overall finish of your bow. I want to comment on your tiller. PLEASE DO NOT BE OFFENDED by what I have to say. Your bow is doing all the work in the middle. In the future get it to work some more in the middle of the limbs. I say this because I see some bows being posted from time to time that have the potential to be awesome if the tiller was just tweaked a little. Keep up the good work man.
-
It is an RD bow, the outside limbs are going to look straighter at full draw.
-
I see the outers are straighteneing out, but looking at the inner thirds I think you are asking alot from this little bow.
I'm with JonW, overall nice work and the skins lookgreat. Hope you don't mind.

DC if you look at the unsrung profile you will see that it is definitely NOT a DR bow. I dont want to argue but I believe my tiller comment is spot on.
-
No worries.
I've made hundreds of bows and at this point I'm over making them all typical. Besides, if you look at the unstrung profile it certainly doesn't mind being bent. Springs back, shoots nice, no frets, no worries.

You're right it's not an RD, I had the braced picture in my mind. But I still think those long recurves are going to make the outers look straight at full draw. I could be wrong.

That's a beauty, very nice. :)
