I was fortunate enough to have some good friends manage to help get me to Marshall this year. One of them osage outlaw brought me a hhb stave so i had a bow to work on thanks Clint! The first nite up in the shop I got it roughed out and floortillered to brace height, the next day we went down and after getting it out to 20" or so I borrowed Patrick's caul and heated it into an r/d and heat treated it and we then went out and shot the course, they took it off just before we got back and with some expert eyes and maybe 10 scrapes it was all tillered, I glued some horn on and shot the short course with it in the morning all in all a great way to build a bow that's for sure😃(http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt320/bubncheryl/Mobile%20Uploads/20160731_183722_HDR_zps4srz0fel.jpg) (http://s623.photobucket.com/user/bubncheryl/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20160731_183722_HDR_zps4srz0fel.jpg.html)

Cool bow there bubby. Heat treat or no?

I don't usually name bows but as you can see I named this one Marshall. 64-1/2" ttt, back in that humidity it was around 45# but out here in this 14% humidity it's pushing around 54#. I must say that pearl, outlaw, dbar, badly bent, knoll, pauly who I got to spend plenty of travel time with, Scott, thanks for putting up with this calif hippy😜. I met some great guys and really had a ball

Heck yes bub that finished up real nice. I like the back profile, plus those grain ripples and full draw looks killer. That sure was a fun weekend, we gotta get you to come back again.

That bow turned out great! I'm glad you were able to finish it up there. Should bring back some memories when you shoot it. I'll make you a deal. Anytime you are able to make it to Marshall or the Classic I'll bring you something to work on ;)

Thanks sticks, bob, bj it is a smooth shooting bow, knoll you know hopefully we get to shoot it again I'm training a dog to find my arrows it will speed up the process😋. Scott it was a pleasure and yeah there are a few of us out here, just more freaks than normals but i live a ways from all that
