Title: Tree ID, please...
Post by: CrazyHorse1969 on August 06, 2016, 08:43:35 am
Hello, all:

I am getting much better at identifying trees, but I am not sure about this one. This was a BIG tree located in Michigan. I am not sure it is even a tree indigenous to Michigan, but it certainly could be.

Thanks!

Cool. Thanks. I did not know how many healthy ones were left in Michigan.

First time I see actual bark on Elm. Completely destroyed here by that DE disease. But wood in it looks healthy, maybe it can be used? It is tough as steel.
