Title: BBO recurve

This is the first BBO recurve I've made.  I made two hickory backed osage recurves off the same form a couple years ago and always wanted to try bamboo.  It's 64" tip to tip and 45# at my 27.5" draw.  It has a 24" cherry power lam and bubinga handle and tips.  I deflexed it an inch at the handle, which put the tips 1 1/4" forward of the handle.  After shooting around 400 arrows, the tips are even with the handle.  I think I will skip the deflex on the next one.
I was going to put off working on it until fall, because of the usual hot and humid August we've had here in Wisconsin.  It's been over 70 degrees and 70% RH in my basement shop.  But, I got antsy and found time to work on it. ;)  I kept it in my hot box off and on and tried to keep it at 8-9% MC.  Don't know if I got the tiller just right, but it feels balanced at full draw and doesn't stack at all.  Thanks for looking.

That is a nice bow GB.. Looks perfect to me in profiles, finish and tiller, you gotta be happy with those results. If its balanced in the hand and hits where you aim I'd bet that one will last you a long time, it looks like it is well designed and well executed to me. Nicely done.
